Brad Miller, Chairman
Brad serves as part of the senior leadership team at Ambassador Enterprises. Prior to joining Ambassador, Brad spent 25 years with the Dow Chemical Company, where he held a succession of progressive commercial and business leadership roles in both the chemicals and plastics divisions, including an assignment in Corporate Strategic Development, where he helped focus Dow’s corporate merger and acquisition efforts.
Before joining Dow, Brad was the sales and marketing director for Moody Press (a unit of Moody Bible Institute) and was an instructor in the Business and Economics department at Huntington University. He holds an M.B.A. from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and a B.A. from Michigan State. He serves on the Boards of Diakonia, Wagner-Meinert, and Theratome Bio.
Thomas Mitchell, Director
Thomas (Tommy) Mitchell is the CEO of OrthoDirectUSA, located in Fort Wayne. He founded the company in 2008 after spending nearly 30 years in the orthopedic industry. Tommy began his career as an orthopedic sales representative and later established his own highly successful orthopedic device distributorship, which he owned and operated for 17 years. During that time, Tommy represented various technologies in the sports medicine, total joint, orthobiologics and spine markets, including Wright Medical.
Tommy also served in executive management positions for three multi-national corporations: Director of European Sales for Smith & Nephew Endoscopy in Brussels; President and CEO of US Operations for Atrax Medical Group, a Bermuda-based wound care start-up; and President and CEO of United Orthopedic Corporation USA.
Bob Vitoux, Director
Bob Vitoux leads investing activities for Ambassador Capital Group. Prior to joining Ambassador, Bob served as the President & CEO of Seymour Midwest, a privately held landscape and specialty tool manufacturer, and was the CFO for Steinway Musical Instruments. The majority of his career has been in the medical device industry, including commercial and finance leadership roles with Zimmer, Johnson & Johnson, and Biomet.
Bob obtained both his B.S. degree in accounting and his A.A. in computer applications from Manchester College. He also completed executive programs at the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business and the University of Notre Dame.
Christophe Dessaigne, Director
Christophe leads Ambassador Impact Investing. He joined the company in 2014 and moved to Fort Wayne after living and working in London, England, for nine years. Christophe’s previous business experience has spanned several sectors, from education to event planning and entrepreneurship to international network development. In each of his previous posts, Christophe was responsible for providing strategic oversight and direction.
Christophe received his master’s degree in management from SKEMA Business School (Sophia Antipolis, France), which included an M.B.A. program at the IESA business school (Caracas, Venezuela), and a B.A. in business administration from Humber College (Toronto, Canada). He holds a Leadership and Management Certificate from International Apostolic Bible College (Kolding, Denmark). Christophe serves on a number of for-profit and nonprofit boards.
Ben Joseph, Director
A lifelong Hoosier from Fort Wayne, Ben was part of the founding team for Mend Medical. His previous professional experience includes executive commercial leadership and management roles in the medical device and insurance industries, as well as private-equity portfolio management for Ambassador Enterprises. Ben was also the General Manager for the foot and ankle business at Zimmer Biomet, after a long career at Biomet. He holds an M.B.A. from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.
Ben and his wife Becky have two boys who attend Blackhawk Christian School. He loves golf, documentaries and tackling projects around his family’s property. Ben is also active in his church community.
